Generosity is a word that stirs up many different responses. From worldly ideas that major on social welfare programs to “Christianized greed,” we need to see what the Bible says about this important subject. In this short study, we will look at what it means to be generous. We will study the difference between charitable giving and obligatory support. We will let the Scriptures examine our hearts to see where our treasure truly is. It is our prayer that you will gain a generous heart through studying the Scriptures, learning to sow freely and open-handedly into the kingdom of God.
