Absalom & Ahab

Spiritual lessons from two of the worst men in the Bible

A redeemed man carries with him the characteristics of God which even the world esteems: honor, courage, sacrifice. But without redemption, those characteristics are often tainted by greed, lust, bitterness and more.

In Absalom and Ahab, we examine the character of two men in the Bible—Absalom son of King David and Ahab, king of Israel. In Absalom we see what devastation bitterness can do to a man who chooses his pain instead of God’s comfort while in Ahab we see what laziness does when a man chooses apathy instead of caring for those to whom he has been given.
