George Müller’s life was full of incredible stories of faith: From receiving over £1.5m (which today would be worth £86m, or $113,496,350) in his lifetime for orphans, to God healing orphans and opening their eyes to the light of the gospel, we can see that his life was life of great impact with ordinary faith. As the modern world continues to improve the quality of life, we tend to not need God as much. George Müller’s life stands as a lesson for all Christians that, regardless of what time we live in, fervent, simple prayer should be a normal part of our lives. Then, and only then, does God truly get the glory.
