Follow Jesus
by
In our culture, “student” means “someone who is studying in order to enter a particular profession.” However, 2000 years ago being a student was far more than studying—it was a way of life. A disciple (a student) would learn from their rabbi (a teacher) and do as they did. When Jesus called the original twelve disciples, He said to them, “Follow me.” But what does the phrase “follow me” mean for the disciple today? What did Jesus teach that shows us how to be a disciple? Follow Jesus provides Scripture and insight to explore the realities of the call to live like a disciple of Jesus. As we hear the call of, “Follow me,” from our Teacher, we are given a unique invitation to know Him and become like Him. Follow Jesus invites you to explore the call we have to follow Jesus.
