"I promise." So often this phrase is spoken casually to one another, oftentimes without anything as much as a second thought for its implications and worth. Perhaps we do follow through with our promise; but how often do we fail to meet the expectations of our words? If we're honest with ourselves, it's hard to fulfill our promises. However, when God says, "I promise," or "I will," then we can rest assured that He will follow through.
